Q:
How do I book a set time (on the hour) for the Tower Tour? Do I just email them?
A:
You buy them at the Abbey on the day -- better show up before the big queue forms, if you're going in Summer. It's a really good tour.

yes. it is a 50 minutes tour, starts on the hour sharp, and must be pree booked.
Q:
Would my tiny 12yr old dog be allowed into the Abbey if I were to carry her in my arms whilst walking around?

That will be very nice! I agree that 30 minutes (minimum) will work. Do walk around inside and out sometime while you are in Bath.

Hi They recommend a donation and there are volunteers at the front desk who organise this. There is a basket for you to put your donation in but in reality you could either not donate or put a small amount in, depending on your finances. Churches are free to enter and any donation is a voluntary thing. I think that Bath Abbey volunteers are keen to protect their Abbey and have thought about the number of visitors who are drawn to visit and have made suggestions about what amount they feel is appropriate. We gave a donation of £3 for 2 of us on the way in and would have happily donated more on the way out had we felt that we hadn’t offered enough. I hope that’s helpful.
