Expect airports and roads to be busy this week as people set off for their Fourth of July travel. Getting to your destination is obviously the goal, and AAA's Montrae Waiters stopped by Good Day with what you need to know before you head out.

According to AAA 61.6 million Americans will have traveled domestically by car, and that’s up 2.2 percent from last year’s Fourth of july weekend, setting a record for highest volume. And by plane 5.84 million are expected to board and that’s a 1.4 percent increase.
