Hindu priest Das, a former member of ISKCON was arrested from Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Monday           .

Another Hindu priest and Iskon member, Shyam Das Prabhu, was detained in Chattogram, Bangladesh without an official warrant. This follows the earlier arrest of spiritual leader Chinmoy Krishna Das on sedition charges.

On Friday, three Hindu temples were vandalized by a mob in Chattogram. The attack targeted the Shantaneshwari Matri Temple, Shoni Temple, and Shantaneshwari Kalibari Temple. According to PTI, the Shoni Temple and the gates of the other two temples were damaged.
