The 51st Bayou Classic in New Orleans features the game between the Grambling State Tigers and the Southern University Jaguars, the Battle of the Bands, step-shows and more.

The annual extravaganza brings fans and alumni of Southern University and Grambling State University to New Orleans each November for a celebration of football and the traditions surrounding Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

Officials in New Orleans will talk about this year’s Bayou Classic on Monday morning. Football fans will be in the city this week for the 51st Bayou Classic. Events in New Orleans start Thursday, Nov.
