A California woman who was pregnant with twins lost both fetuses after contracting Listeria from recalled meat products, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Health officials are investigating a multistate outbreak of Listeria monocytogenes infections tied to recalled ready-to-eat meat and poultry products from Yu Shang Food Inc.

Eleven people have been infected so far across four states. Of the 11, nine have been hospitalized and one died - a baby.
