Incoming US President-elect Donald Trump keeps threatening to dropkick countries like Canada that don’t meet their defense spending obligations as members of the transatlantic weapons lobby known as the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) out of its protection racket.

“The Trudeau policies are the freeloading policies of a NATO of decay. If everyone had the policies of Trudeau, there would be no NATO,” said Turner, who also serves as vice chair of the Defense and Security Committee of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.
