On the popular social media app TikTok, teenagers are sharing videos of school-issued Chromebooks spewing smoke in what's being called the "Chromebook challenge."

A growing trend on Tik Tok called, the “Chromebook challenge,” has students intentionally getting their Chromebook laptops to catch fire, which is causing schools to worry across the county and here in Central Texas.
