Declan Donnelly has been rushed to medics backstage on I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! after being bitten by a spider in the Australian jungle. Dec, 49, had to be checked over by specialists behind the scenes of the ITV show to make sure the bite wasn’t poisonous.

During an Instagram Live, his co-host Ant McPartlin shared the news, saying: “We've had quite a lot of drama not only on the show, but off the show as well, because Dec had a spider on his neck and was bitten by a spider and the medic was called in to have a look.”

It is thought Declan Donnelly was bitten by a spider in the Australian jungle where the show is filmed. Donnelly, 49, was checked over by specialists working on the ITV show to make sure the bite wasn’t poisonous.
