President Donald Trump said on Saturday that he will increase the global tariffs he imposed a day earlier to 15% from 10% following an adverse ruling at the Supreme Court.
The move comes after the Supreme Court handed the White House a huge setback to one of its signature economic and foreign policy tools.
The president implementing the new baseline duty under a 1974 law which grants the president unilateral ability to impose tariffs, but its limited to 150 days.
