Following a few all-time low prices on the MacBook Air this morning, Amazon is now discounting multiple M4 MacBook Pro models to new low prices

Amazon has dropped the price on the M4 MacBook Pro to $1,399, which is $200 down from its usual $1,599 price. While 13% off might not sound huge, any discount on current-generation Apple products is a win, and this matches the lowest price we’ve seen on this configuration.

The brand-new M4 Pro MacBook Pro 14-inch has hit a new record low price of $1,749, with units in stock with free expedited shipping. This pre-Black Friday Apple deal may sell out or end soon, with limited supply available at the reduced price.

I tested a beautiful Space Black MacBook Pro with the new M4 Pro chip and 48GB memory (which I would treasure if it belonged to me). The 3-nanometer chip it uses has 14 cores, consisting of 10 performance and four efficiency cores; it has a 2TB drive; a Liquid Retina XDR nanotexture display; and it costs $3,349.

The M4 MacBook Pro models may be featuring quantum dot technology. The jury is still out on whether these displays are better than before.

The biggest reason to upgrade to the MacBook Pro M4 is the performance. This machine gets the newest M4 chip that is based on a 3-nanometer process, promising the fastest CPU core and better multithreaded performance than M3.
