CBS Sports analyst Ross Tucker will honor Baughan with custom shoes through the NFL’s My Cause, My Cleats campaign. Baughan was named a Pro Football Hall of Fame finalist on Tuesday.

Former Alabama prep standout Maxie Baughan is closer to enshrinement in the Pro Football Hall of Fame than he has been at any time since he originally became eligible for induction with the Class of 1980.

Former Green Bay Packers wide receiver Sterling Sharpe was one of five people named finalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame's Class of 2025 on Tuesday

Baughan, an Eagles Hall of Famer who spent six seasons in Philadelphia from 1960-1965, is one of three finalists in the seniors category, which also includes Sterling Sharpe and Jim Tryer. Ralph Hay is the lone finalist in the contributor category and Mike Holmgren is the only coach.

Maxie Baughan, who made the Pro Bowl in five of his six seasons with the Eagles, is a finalist for the Pro Football Hall of Fame in the combined contributor, coach and senior committee category.
