On Monday afternoon, NBA insider Chris Haynes reported starting point guard Dejounte Murray intends to return on Wednesday night against the Toronto Raptors. Murray suffered a left hand injury on opening night against the Chicago Bulls when he finished with 14 points and game-leading 10 assists to go along with 8 rebounds.

"If you're not embarrassed and really mad about this, that's a problem," Dejounte Murray said after the Pelicans' 119-93 loss to the struggling Raptors on Wednesday night extended their losing streak to six games.
