The United States Coast Guard is investigating after a large cargo ship ran aground on Wednesday night in the Delaware River.

The U.S. Coast Guard says the Algoma Verity became stuck in the river near Fishtown on Wednesday. Crews were still working to dislodge the boat on Thursday.
