The combination of cool temperatures and showery weather has meant Willamette Valley snow is possible at lower elevations throughout this week.

Up at Government Camp on Mount Hood, 3-5 inches of new snow are expected today. The north Oregon Cascades are under an avalanche advisory that began Friday evening and lasts until 6 p.m. Sunday. Up to 2 feet of snow is expected at high elevations on Mount Hood in the next three days.
