It’s all part of Sony’s ongoing 30 years of PlayStation celebration. And there’s more beyond the PS1 intro, though sadly, everything is only temporary.

Once you restart your PS5, you’ll be greeted with the iconic PlayStation 1 boot screen in glorious 4K. You’ll then be taken through a little tutorial that tells you that you can change themes based on all four classic PlayStation consoles and a special 30th anniversary theme.
