The Appleton Police Department has provided more information about a disturbance involving a weapon on Sanders Street early Sunday morning. Public Information Officer Meghan Cash reported that officers were dispatched to the 1800 block of South Sanders Street in the early hours of Sunday.

The Outagamie County Coroner’s Office and the Appleton Police Department have identified the victim in Sunday’s weapons incident on South Sanders Street.

APPLETON (WLUK) -- A man died in a shooting in Appleton over the weekend. The suspect is in custody. Police say on Sunday, around 7:30 a.m., officers responded to a disturbance with a weapon in the 1800 block of S. Sanders Street.

APPLETON, Wis–Appleton Police release the name of a suspected murder victim. Daniel Juedes, Senior was found with multiple gunshot wounds in a South Sanders Street home early Sunday morning. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
