We've reached the midpoint of the high school football regular season. We're covering three non-league games Friday, including a battle of unbeatens between Columbus Academy and host St. Charles. Our other games feature DeSales against Ready at Fortress Obetz and Gahanna Lincoln at Dublin Coffman.

Week 5 of high school football action kicked off Thursday with a North Yosemite League showdown between McLane and Sunnyside from McLane Stadium. That game is The Fresno Bee Game of the Week. The winner will have the inside track of an NYL title. Both teams have been impressive during the nonleague schedule.
