President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump hosted dual American Israeli citizen Edan Alexander, 21, on Thursday at the White House, where the latter reportedly pressed the president to free the remaining hostages held in captivity by Hamas.

Released after almost two years of captivity, Edan Alexander, joined by his parents, is scheduled to meet with President Trump and the first lady.

Edan Alexander, the last living American hostage in Gaza, will visit Washington, D.C., two months after his release.
