Amazon workers in more than 20 countries will strike and protest starting Friday through Monday in actions organized by the Swiss-based UNI Global Union.

Each year has focussed on different aspects of Amazon’s business practices, with some specifically targeting chief executive Jeff Bezos. Demonstrators have previously projected ‘pandemic profiteer’ onto his mansion after his personal wealth grew by more than $65 billion during the covid pandemic.

Amazon workers in more than 20 countries, including the United States and the United Kingdom, plan to hold protests or go on strike between Black Friday and Cyber Monday, two of the marquee shopping promotions of the year, according to organizers.
