More than 140 Advance Auto Parts employees in Texas will lose their jobs around the start of next year as the chain of automotive parts stores closes hundreds of locations across the country. Advance Auto Parts and its subsidiary Straus-Frank Enterprises LLC plan to cut 143 jobs across the state,

Advance Auto Parts is downsizing its operations in response to mounting financial challenges. The company announced plans to close 523 corporate stores, four distribution centers, and withdraw from 204 independent locations by mid-2025.

More than 100 California locations are set to close, including Advance Auto Parts and Carquest Auto Parts stores.
