The fourth season left a lot unfigured for Emily, like her future in the company’s new Rome office. The romantic triangle between Emily-Gabriel (played by Lucas Bravo) and now Marcello (portrayed by Eugenio Franceschini) remains unresolved.

Emily in Paris will be back for Season 5. The Paris (and now-Rome set) rom-com series dropped Part 2 of Season 4 on September 12. Netflix didn’t take long to announce the fate of the series. The streamer announced the show’s renewal just days after Part 2 was released.

Netflix is saying “oui” to Emily! Emily in Paris starring Lily Collins has been renewed by the streamer for a fifth season. Both Collins and series creator Darren Star confirmed that the new season will see Emily continue her adventures in Rome and Paris.

Netflix has announced the popular series, Emily in Paris, will be returning for Season 5. The announcement comes just days after part 2 of Season 4 released, which left off with a major cliffhanger, along with a surprising location change for the show – taking the characters from Paris to Rome.
