It didn’t take President-elect Donald Trump long to rebound from former Florida congressman Matt Gaetz’s decision not to seek confirmation as attorney general. Hours later, Trump proposed that the job instead go to another resident of his home state, former Florida attorney general Pam Bondi.

While Ms. Bondi, President-elect Donald J. Trump’s pick for attorney general, served as attorney general of Florida, her office declined to investigate allegations of fraud against his for-profit school.

The incoming president has tapped five attorneys who have been on his legal team to serve in government roles.
