Ubisoft in x post on X said that Assassin's Creed Mirage would be released on Steam in October. The post read, “As we celebrate one year since launch, we can't wait to welcome more fans to our back to the roots experience set in 9th century Baghdad.”

Today, Ubisoft announced that the recently delayed Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be arriving on Steam on day one when it finally launches in February 2025 and confirmed that future Ubisoft games will do the same, ending a years-long strategy of keeping its biggest games off Steam for months or longer after launch.

Assassin's Creed Mirage is set to make its Steam debut, marking the start of Ubisoft's full return to Valve's PC storefront. Last month, Ubisoft announced its new releases are set to launch day one on Steam, starting with Assassin's Creed Shadows on 14th February next year.
