Asian shares were trading mostly lower Tuesday, despite a rally on Wall Street in stocks seen as benefiting the most from Donald Trump’s re-election as president.

Wall Street’s main indexes were near record highs today, holding on to post-election gains, ahead of the next batch of economic data that could decide whether the equity rally can sustain itself.
