Priyanka Gandhi Vadra joined her brother Rahul and mother Sonia as a Member of Parliament after winning the Wayanad bypoll with a record margin. Her victory marks a rare instance of three family members serving as MPs concurrently.

Priyanka Gandhi clinched the Wayanad Lok Sabha seat with a thumping margin of over four lakh votes, surpassing her brother Rahul Gandhi's victory margin from the 2024 general elections.

Priyanka Gandhi chose the iconic Kasavu saree for her oath as Wayanad MP, highlighting Kerala's traditional attire. The saree symbolises Kerala’s rich culture, craftsmanship, and elegance.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, dressed in a Kasavu saree, took her oath as a Lok Sabha MP, embodying Kerala's cultural essence.

The three were seen together on the third day of the Winter Session. She took affirmation in Hindi while holding a copy of the Constitution soon after the House met.

She won the Wayanad Lok Sabha seat with a huge lead of 4,10,931 votes, defeating CPM candidate Sathyan Mokeri. She surpassed Rahul Gandhi's victory margin in the Lok Sabha elections.

This marks Priyanka's first term as an MP, where she will join her brother, Rahul Gandhi, who represents Raebareli, and her mother, Sonia Gandhi, a Rajya Sabha member.

Priyanka Gandhi on Saturday won the Wayanad Lok Sabha bypoll with a thumping margin of over four lakh votes, defeating Sathyan Mokeri of the CPI(M)-led LDF.

Priyanka Gandhi's victory in Wayanad marks her first foray into electoral politics, and she will now join her brother Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of Opposition, in the Lok Sabha. Their mother, Sonia Gandhi, remains a Rajya Sabha member representing Rajasthan.

With a winning margin of more than 4.1 lakh votes, Priyanka surpassed the tally of her brother Rahul Gandhi from Wayanad in Kerala.
