FireAid, featuring Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, Sting, Red Hot Chili Peppers and others in a fundraiser for Los Angeles-area wildfire relief efforts, is the latest event to combine music and philanthropy.
After almost six hours of FireAid, Lady Gaga ended the historic Los Angeles event by debuting a new song co-written with her fiance Michael Polansky, an upbeat number that she said was “just for tonight.”
Between performances, survivors of the LA wildfire, which has killed 28 people, shared their experiences of losing their homes.
The FireAid concert witnessed some mic-dropping performances from a dazzling array of music legends and A-list performers including Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, P!nk, Rod Stewart, Billie Eilish, and Nirvana.
