Snow is causing treacherous travel conditions across Maine on Wednesday. A car crash took down some wires in South Portland during a snowstorm on Wednesday morning. The crash happened on Broadway at Lincoln Street. Police say Broadway is closed from Cash Corner to Lincoln St. Wires are down in the roadway.
MAINE, USA — Slick road conditions Wednesday morning led to multiple crashes across the state. One crash on Sabattus Street in Lewiston brought down utility lines, making for a messy situation. The road was closed in the area for multiple hours but has since reopened.

Police say a vehicle hit a utility pole on Broadway near Lincoln St. around 8:10 a.m. on Wednesday, causing lines to come down and knocking out power in the area. The driver, a 33-year-old woman, was taken to Maine Medical Center in Portland with non-life-threatening injuries.
