An Army Black Hawk helicopter collided with a regional jet near Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport on Wednesday evening, U.S. officials confirmed to ABC News.

A PSA Airlines Bombardier CRJ700 regional jet collided with a Black Hawk helicopter while on approach at Reagan Washington National Airport at about 9 p.m. Wednesday.

Lily Wu, the mayor of Wichita, Kan., said the airline hasn’t yet released the list of passengers on the flight, known as the manifest. As a result, Wu said she didn’t know how many people from Wichita were on the flight.
