A report from the US Bureau of Labor and Statistics shows that in May of this year, 717,000 jobs were held within the state, but a year ago that number was over 725,000. Executive Director for the West Virginia Center on Budget and Policy Kelly Allen said elections could be a reason why.

The United States Supreme Court will hear the case of a challenge to West Virginia’s Save Women’s Sports Act, according to West Virginia Attorney General J.B. McCuskey.

The U.S. Supreme Court has agreed to hear West Virginia v. B.P.J., which will decide if the state’s Save Women’s Sports Act and similar laws across the country are constitutional.
