Three snowmobilers were partially buried by debris when they were caught in an avalanche north of Granby on Saturday.

The slide happened on Gravel Mountain near Grand Lake just before 2:30 p.m. The Colorado Avalanche Information Center said that three or four people were caught in the avalanche, but were able to get out on their own or with the help of bystanders. It is believed to have been triggered by a snowmobile.
