BCCI will confer Ravichandran Ashwin with a Special Award on Saturday. Jasprit Bumrah and Smriti Mandhana will receive accolades.

The BCCI will give a special award to Ravichandran Ashwin who retired from international cricket in December 2024. Sachin Tendulkar will also be getting a Lifetime Achievement award.

The last season has been brilliant for Indian cricket and the BCCI will be looking forward to celebrate the best performances of some of these iconic players.  There are already some players who will be receiving these prestigious awards with Jasprit Bumrah who already being named as the ICC Men’s cricketer of the year will also be receiving the Polly Umrigar Best male International Cricketer of the year for his great performance and Smriti Mandhana will be receiving the award for the Best international cricketer of the year (Female) for smashing 743 runs in 2024.

Bumrah and opening batter Smriti Mandhana will be receiving the ‘Best International Cricketer’ award in the men’s and women’s categories respectively while spin legend Ravichandran Ashwin is set to be honoured after announcing his international retirement midway during the tour of Australia.
