Jharkhand Assembly Election Results to be declared today as vote counting begins at 8 AM. Key contest between JMM-led INDIA and BJP-led NDA across 81 seats.

Hemant Soren will be sworn in as the 14th chief minister of Jharkhand, a decision taken by JMM and its INDIA bloc allies, day after securing a stunning victory in the Jharkhand Assembly Elections, the results of which were announced Saturday.

As the counting of the vote is underway, Hemant Soren-led INDIA bloc has orchestrated a stunning turnaround in the Assembly polls. Defying exit poll predictions, the JMM is on the way to forming a government for a third term,

Incidentally, it was only Soren who took the oath today. Other probable ministers, who are likely to join the Cabinet, will be sworn in after the vote of confidence in the Assembly.
