The Celtics will hit the road Friday to take on the Pelicans, who are on a four-game losing streak. Boston had split its previous 12 games before a 122-100 home victory against the Bulls on Wednesday.

The Celtics will do so with likely better health than vs. the Bulls, and against a dinged up Pels squad that has lost four games straight. This should be an easy win for Boston --

Zion Williamson wants to play back-to-back games but the New Orleans Pelicans have strictly prohibited from doing so in the 2024-25 NBA season.

Pelicans’ superstar Zion Williamson has been one of their lone bright spots this season, especially after his return from injury. Of course, Zion was sidelined for over two months with a hamstring injury, but since returning he has been dominant.

P.J. Washington and Daniel Gafford had double-doubles, four of their Dallas teammates scored in double figures and the visiting Mavericks defeated the New Orleans Pelicans 137-136 on Wednesday night.
