Dhaka: Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari, the spokesperson of the Bangladesh Sanatan Jagaran Mancha and head of Pundarik Dham in Chittagong was arrested and sent to jail on Monday, November 25. Chinmoy Krishna Das is a former member of ISKCON Bangladesh.

Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari, also known as Krishna Das Prabhu, is an ISKCON monk and prominent Hindu leader who was arrested in Bangladesh for his alleged involvement in protests against violence towards Hindus.

Two Iskcon priests who were associates of Chinmoy Krishna Das were arrested in Bangladesh on Saturday, Iskcon Kolkata vice president Radharamn Das said amid escalating tensions within the country's Hindu community.
