The Veilguard failing to meet EA goals with only half of the players it wanted, EA CEO Andrew Wilson is reflecting on why that happened.

This is not the first time I’ve written about a video game that appears to have been sent out to die, and I predict it will not be the last. The latest victim of the business is Dragon Age: The Veilguard, which, of course, was one of the subjects of Electronic Arts’ third-quarter earnings call on Tuesday with CEO Andrew Wilson.

Three months have now passed since BioWare finally saw the long-awaited release of its new RPG Dragon Age: The Veilguard – and despite favorable reviews from critics, EA states that the game failed to reach a "broad enough audience."
