Browns' Joel Bitonio: Set to play Week 9
Bitonio (foot) will play Sunday versus the Chargers, Chris Easterling of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

Browns cornerback Denzel Ward returned to practice on Friday and the team is leaving the door open for him to play against the Chargers on Sunday.

BEREA, Ohio — Browns tight end David Njoku was added to the injury report on Thursday and sat out practice with ankle and hand injuries. Njoku missed Weeks 2-4 with a sprained ankle suffered in the opener against Dallas, and returned on a limited basis in Week 5.
Browns' Joel Bitonio: Dealing with foot issue
Bitonio played 100 percent of the Browns ' offensive snaps in Sunday's win over the Ravens, however, it appears he sustained a foot injury in the process. The veteran offensive lineman will likely need to upgrade to at least limited participation Thursday or Friday in order to suit up in Week 9, when the Browns host the Chargers.
Browns CB Denzel Ward back at practice following 6th concussion, not yet cleared to play Sunday
