The Sixers, who are off to a nightmarish 2-12 start this year, are teetering on the verge of a lost season in the wake of Paul George's latest knee injury.

Tyrese Maxey candidly expressed how it felt to watch Paul George crouch under the basket, then head to the locker room during the 76ers’ loss to the Grizzlies. “It [stinks],” Maxey said from his locker after the game Wednesday.

Paul George, who left early in Wednesday's loss to the Memphis Grizzlies due to a left knee hyperextension, has been diagnosed with a bone bruise in his left knee. He will miss at least the matchups with the Nets and the Clippers before being re-evaluated on Monday.
