Today’s high temperature will be met in the morning hours. After the cold front passes through, we will cool down into the 60s for the rest of the day. A chance of rain remains for the morning as the front passes.

A strong cold front is moving through the area, giving us cooling temperatures throughout the day. This means we’ll start the day mild in the 70s, then drop to the lower 60s this afternoon. The weather looks nice, dry, and cool for the Bayou Classic between Southern and Grambling.

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - A big change is coming on Thanksgiving Day. A cold front moving across the state will bring rain and storms in the morning. Some storms could be strong to severe in our eastern areas if we get enough heating in the early morning. Most areas will just see some showers.
