The Clark County Coroner has identified the Uber driver killed in a road rage shooting near the Strip on Monday night.

According to LVMPD, a man in his 50s was driving for Uber with two passengers when there was a dispute on the road. When vehicles came to stop, the man reportedly exited his car, banged on the driver’s side window of the car in front of him, and was then shot in the neck. Police said, the man had a firearm in his possession.

The suspect has since been placed in custody, and Metro police have submitted the investigation to the District Attorney's Office for a self-defense review.
