WWE CCO Paul "Triple H" Levesque has chimed in regarding the potential for Netflix's streaming bandwidth to be destroyed by Monday Night Raw in January.

On January 23, 2024, came the announcement from WWE, TKO, and Netflix that Raw was leaving the familiarity of the USA Network for a new challenge at Netflix. The deal was worth a staggering $5 billlion, with the streamer paying out $500 million a year for ten years. This doubled the $250 million WWE gets from USA to air Raw.

WWE Chief Content Officer Paul "Triple H" Levesque made the announcement Sunday night when he appeared on stage during Travis Scott's concert at ComplexCon in Las Vegas. Scott's new music will also serve as the theme song for "Monday Night Raw".

The WWE Network has long been the home of WWE's library in international markets. Here in the States, WWE's streaming channel had a run on its own before getting integrated into Peacock. The library of content includes WCW,

A partnership between the streaming giant and WWE was initially announced in January this year, with Netflix saying that it will stream live weekly shows and flagship events from World Wrestling Entertainment, including WrestleMania, SmackDown, NXT ...

At the start of 2024, Netflix announced its incredible new $5 billion ten-year deal with the WWE, which sees Raw move to the platform exclusively in the US. The landmark deal also included overseas territories that will see Raw, Smackdown, NXT, and the PPV events such as Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania, and Summerslam call Netflix home.

The WWE era on Netflix is about to begin. WWE's Monday Night Raw will premiere on Netflix at 5 pm PT/8 pm ET on January 6, live from L.A.

WWE is going all out for the first episode, with it set for the new Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, and big names like John Cena, Roman Reigns, and Cody Rhodes scheduled to appear. It's seen as a new era for Raw, which means a newly released logo as well and an updated theme song by Travis Scott.
