From modern hits like Terrifier to classics like The Thing, here's the best Amazon Prime horror movies to watch this month

Coming off the finale of Agatha, Aubrey Plaza has landed another critic and fan favorite in the form of her new movie, My Old Ass.

Prime Video 's new most-watched movie (at the time of writing) is the Spanish zombie action thriller Apocalypse Z: The Beginning of the End. The new Prime Video movie has topped the streamer's global top 10 chart since it was added on October 31, despite facing tough competition from the nearly 200 movies being added to Prime Video this month.

One cool feature that's relatively unique to Amazon Prime Video is the streamer's X-Ray feature, which pops up the name of an actor or the music you're currently hearing or seeing on screen when you pause the show.

This time of year is always a really busy one for Amazon - it has to keep all its usual plates spinning while also building up to Black Friday at the end of November. That means that for Prime Video it'll be another month full of new releases and additions to its back catalogue.
