EVANSVILLE − The "why" is still a mystery, but the "what" is known for sure: A man drove a vehicle off the roof of the Bally's Casino parking garage in Downtown Evansville on Monday morning, slamming through the roof of the casino's adjoining executive conference center.

Dispatch has confirmed reports of a vehicle driving off the parking garage of Bally’s Casino in Evansville. Officials confirmed that a vehicle drove off the Bally’s parking garage and crash landed upside down in the Executive Conference Center on top of an escalator.

According to officials, the car went through the roof of the seventh floor of the parking garage and into the Conference Center. Our 14 News crew on scene says Northwest 1st Street is currently closed due to the incident. We’re told AMR is also on scene for injuries.

A witness tells our crew at the scene told our crew that a car drove off of the parking garage and went through the roof of the conference center. EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — Police and other first responders are investigating a partial roof collapse caused by a vehicle at Bally's casino in Evansville. Police, firefighters, and medical personnel all responded to the scene just before 9 a.m. Authorities say a car drove off of the parking garage and went through the roof of the conference center.
