The Utah Jazz went into this game against the Golden State Warriors looking to solidify their goal of a top pick in the draft, and they did just that, losing 114-103. It was a rest off tonight with the Warriors resting Steph Curry and Draymond Green while the Jazz rested Lauri Markkanen and Walker Kessler.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored a career-high 54 points and the Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Utah Jazz 123-114.

It wouldn’t really be a 2024-25 Utah Jazz game if the opponent didn’t pull off some historic feat or a player on the opposing team didn’t have a career night.

With this performance, Shai also made NBA history. He became the only Canadian-born player to record multiple games with 50 or more points. Of course, he was tied with fellow Canadian-born player Jamal Murray of the Denver Nuggets with one 50-point game, but after his incredible performance Wednesday night, Shai now stands alone at the top.
