CALGARY, Alberta (AP) — The Calgary Flames traded left wings Andrei Kuzmenko and Jakob Pelletier to the Philadelphia Flyers on Thursday night for center Morgan Frost and left wing Joel Farabee.

Kevin Kurz of The Athletic: (mailbag) It does make some sense that the Philadelphia Flyers would be interested in a top-line center like Elias Pettersson but he does come with some big question marks.

Kuzmenko is in the final season of a two-year, $11 million deal that also has a modified 12-team no-trade clause.

He has put up six points (three goals, three assists) in his last five games (12 shots). He may not be the 74-point guy he was in his first NHL season (2022-23), but Kuzmenko still has great hands.
