A Cadillac team is set to compete in Formula One in 2026, with racing legend Mario Andretti playing a key role.

The 11th team will be called Cadillac F1 and be run by new Andretti Global majority owners Dan Towriss and Mark Walter.

The decision follows F1 rejecting Andretti Global's earlier bid to be the 11th team. GM pledges an American-made engine.
