The Florida State Seminoles are back in the win column after picking up a 41-7 win over Charleston Southern Saturday afternoon in Doak Campbell Stadium. They improved to 2-9 with the win and broke their six-game losing streak.

Florida State football true freshman quarterback Luke Kromenhoek is starting vs. Charleston Southern. It is the first start of Kromenhoek's FSU career, and he is the third quarterback to start a game for the Seminoles this season. DJ Uiagalelei and Brock Glenn are the other two quarterbacks to earn a start.

Florida State football coach Mike Norvell saw the promises of what his team could be next year - and a victory to show for it. While the 41-7 homecoming win Saturday over a 1-11 Charleston Southern may not mean as much as the Seminoles improved to 2-9, Norvell placed his young talents on display at Doak Campbell Stadium.
