Two Indian fishermen are missing after an Indian Navy Submarine collided with a fishing vessel, off the coast of Goa. The accident occurred during the Sea Vigil Coastal Security and Defense exercise by the Indian Navy. Rescue efforts are underway for the missing fishermen.

Following the collision on Thursday night, naval authorities launched an immediate search and rescue operations and deployed six ships and aircraft to the area.

According to the officials, 13 crew members were onboard the fishing vessel Marthoma at the time of the collision.

An Indian fishing vessel collided with an Indian Navy unit near Goa on Thursday evening. Immediate Search and Rescue (SAR) efforts led to the rescue of 11 out of 13 crew members, while operations continue to locate the remaining two.
