Jamie Gittens has revealed that two of his new Chelsea teammates were pestering him about completing his move from Borussia Dortmund. The Englishman’s move to Stamford Bridge was finally confirmed on Saturday after Chelsea agreed a £48.5million deal with the Bundesliga club.

Gittens has become Chelsea ’s fifth signing of the summer transfer window. Liam Delap and Joao Pedro have already arrived in deals worth a combined £90m. Youngsters Mamadou Sarr and Dario Essugo could also be part of Maresca’s squad after signing from Strasbourg and Sporting, respectively.
