Tuesday was a sensory-friendly time for those who need a quieter space to enjoy the Kern County Fair and all it has to offer.

Owner Shelly Guss said the shop has been booming getting clients ready for fair fun. “They just love their blowouts, nice beach waves and they’re off to have fun, eat the fair food,” said Guss. “Luckily for us, we’re a getting ready service, so we’re actually getting them prepared to go there to look their best and feel their best.”
