South Africa and Sri Lanka will lock horns at Hollywoodbets Kingsmead in Durban on Wednesday, 27 November in the first of two crucial Tests.

Temba Bavuma was the rock for South Africa with a gritty 70, his 22nd test half-century, but Sri Lanka will be happy with their morning’s work as they dismissed the Proteas for 191 in 49.4 overs at lunch on the second day of the first test at Kingsmead in Durban on Thursday.

South Africa resumed their innings on 80/4 after a rain affected Day 1 but lost Kyle Verreynne early on Day 2 who fell prey to Lahiru Kumara (3/38) which left them reeling at 83/5 in the first innings.
